Good pointReader comment on item: Turkey, Still a Western Ally? Submitted by David W. Lincoln (Canada), Dec 10, 2007 at 10:21 Sharia is accurately portrayed as a noose to be used by a hangman. The images that come from, "The Haj" or "Not without my daughter" portray that axiom quite well. It's a shame because the Torah (for the right believing Jew) is an objective eternal standard, and where Sharia departs from the Torah (or any other representation of the first principles of practical wisdom that C.S. Lewis wrote about in the essay, "The Way", which is the middle portion of "The Abolition of Man), well a different road was embarked upon. And we all can give thanks to Robert Frost for his poem, "The road not taken" to describe the aftermath.
