Israel's belief in free elections is not a suicide pact. If terrorist murderers sworn to her destruction get elected in an adjacent territory (not even a sovereign State), the Israelis have every right to protect themselves.

What is more, such blatant disregard by Palestinian voters simply shows that they are not ready for the franchise, nor for a state of their own living among civilized national and the rule of law,.
