While we wait for the promise to AbrahamReader comment on item: Accept Israel as the Jewish State? Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Dec 2, 2007 at 22:25 There will be wars and rumors of wars until Christ returns, so the Bible says. However, in the meantime, war and victory is neccessary in defense of freedom. Israel poses no threat towards it's neighbors. Palestinians, Arabs, and the terrorist elements within do. History has proven Israel has no desire to conquer and eliminate surrounding Muslim countries. Surrounding Muslim countries are over-whelmingly populated with persons, and leaders, who desire to conquer and eliminate Israel. It is a war against Israel. The reason for the ongoing Palestinian-Israel conflict specifically is because there has been no victor. Israel would be justified in defending herself against this enemy, and war is won by offensive action, not just defensive. I wonder, will there ever be a time or a condition that will prompt any world leader to say, Palestinians don't deserve a state? Probably not, those days of winning wars are long gone. Yes, eternal peace and perfect enviroment will only exist, according to the Bible, in the Millenium. Until that time comes, war and victory is an imparative with reguards to perpetuation of freedom and in defense of it.
