Hope Olmert sticks to his demand

Reader comment on item: Accept Israel as the Jewish State?

Submitted by Vijay (United Kingdom), Nov 29, 2007 at 07:17

I hope Olmert sticks to his demand as a starting point of negotiations without being sidetracked by Arabs or the Quartet or the State Dept or George Bush.. With almost all Muslim majority countries declaring themselves as islamic countries , they have no moral right to demand from Israel any thing else.

If Bush and Rice can't reach "their" Palestinian State before 2009 without taking basic Israeli demands on board, too bad for them.
