Arab League can put pressure on Palestinians.

As long as the Israeli/Palestinian battle boils over, there's a chance of more violence spreading over the Middle East. The Palestinian battle is led by extremists who don't live there--easy for them to keep the violence going. These extremists want more than they are entitled to.

Did they forget the Ottoman Empire lost control of the Holy Land in WWI? Their claim for Jerusalem is a farce. King David paid the Jebus for the land and designated its holy places. The Jews built it century after century and rebuilt it after wars. The Muslim warriors who conquered Jerusalem did nothing but build their Dome on the site of the destroyed Temple Mount, which was vacant while the Jews and Christians awaited a sign from God to rebuild it.

Jaladhi is right. Erekat lies, and no peace will ever come of it.
