Blast from the past (well the 80's)Reader comment on item: Accept Israel as the Jewish State? Submitted by Nehemia Stern (United States), Dec 4, 2007 at 16:52 "But the power of the Israel Defense Forces has prodded anti-Zionism toward a more subtle approach of accepting an Israeli state but dismantling its Jewish character. Anti-Zionists consider several ways to achieve this:" Interesting i believe Rabbi Meir kahane made a similar point on various occasions. Rabbi Kahane focused on the Demographic and political by which the jewish state may be dismantled. I wonder if Daniel Pipes' solution is different from Meir Kahane's? Is there a 'just' solution to this problem? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
