So the US hurt Europe?

Reader comment on item: A Critical Moment For Turkey
in response to reader comment: The reverse truth is the truth

"Further, Unified Europe is the greatest threat to US dominance. A belligerent Europe even more so. What is the quickest way to cut Europe down to size? Flood it with a hundred million Muslims who will bring Islamic mores and norms to Europe, reducing European abilities to Moroccan, Algerian, Pakistani, etc levels. Is that Condy's elliptical thinking? Unlikely, but then, the reverse of the truth is the truth."

Muslims came to Europe decades before Condi's name was even heard anywhere in America! You think the US deliberately "flooded" EUROPE with Muslims?

A unified Europe is no threat. We are just waiting for Europeans to shoulder the burden that is commensurate with the influence and power they seek. Americans would dearly love to be free of Europe.

If the people of the Middle East will go against what they really want simply because the US supports it then their paranoia is their own problem, not ours. It's almost like a child refusing to eat ice cream just because his mother said it was good. The Turks are behaving like children.

Does that mean if Americans said Islam was the future of the world and that America would embrace it that Muslims would see that as a trap and suddenly renounce their religion? Who knew it was that easy? So I guess in order for the US to defeat al Qaeda all we have to do is praise them to the hilt and declare that Allah is our god, too? Will we then see bin Laden and al Zawahiri putting out tapes saying that Allah is dead?

There you have the reverse of the truth becoming the truth.
