Radical and traditional Islam

Reader comment on item: Muslims "Lagging Behind"

Submitted by Donald W. Bales (United States), Jan 6, 2007 at 21:37

I don't care. I think that radical Islam is a terrible threat. I also think that Islam has not been tolerant of other religions in the way that we use the word "tolerant." At best, Christians and Jews (and those other people of the book-Zoroasterians) were second class citizens and had to pay a 10% surtax.

However, I had been told that Mohammed said, "He who kills one innocent, kills all innocents."

The radical Islamists have redefined innocents to exclude all Christians and Jews and atheists and others and all Muslims who do not follow their radical and distorted view of Islam.

We are not at war with terror-that is an abstraction. We are at war with the men-and women-who follow the radical Islamist view.

It is World War IV and the enemy has the numbers and the oil and the money and the "Useful Idiots" and the fifth column to win it if more of us in the U.S. and especially in Europe do not wake up.
