Sorry, but no, the muslim people will not rise up to be equals...because to do this they first need to dump the koran.

Reader comment on item: Muslims "Lagging Behind"

The holy book of islam is a blueprint of actions, reactions and codes of behavior for the muslim people.

The quran, is the reason that so many many muslims are ignorant, unable to read, live in poverty and filth.

Extreme violence and pain from muslims on to their own people and others stems from the religion of islam itself.

In order to change the islamist society from extreme ignorance to culture of learning, thinking, caring and creating . . . islam must be dumped.

The reason this is so, is due to the fact that ALL islamic countries are lacking in Nobel Prizes, patents, morals, inventions and a living breathing society of knowledge.

Each and every islamic country is backward, even with the advantage of billions of dollars in oil money in some muslim countries.

The prophet of the muslims, mohammed is held up to be the perfect person. He was not perfect, far from it. This person lied, killed, raped, and stole in the name of G-d.

He told people that asking questions of him was against the will of allah and was ungodly.
He never bothered to learn to read and write, despite having huge amount of stolen money and wealth.
He said that the koran was perfect, even though it contains many errors and contradictions.
He told people that the quran was directly from G-d, however it has much evil in it.

As long as the muslim people continue to follow the false prophet mohammed and islam, there will be no peace, knowledge, creativity, freedom, self made wealth, or freedom.

That is sad, there are over a Billion muslims in this 21 century, and yet most of these followers of mohammed will led lives so filled with ignorance that they might as well be living in the same time frame as the prophet mohammed.
