Reader comment on item: Palestinians Taste a Dose of Their Own Medicine

The security of Israel and a Palestinian state.

For ages we are hearing "peace for the Palestinians means for a security for Israel" slogan. The Palestinians had always wanted peace before providing security to Israel, while Israel had opted for security first. Many unsuspecting people have been seduced by the Palestinian option, which is like putting the cart before the horse.

How can we expect Israel to make peace or even trust terrorist? The security concerns of Israel are legitimate. How can Israel feel comfortable with people who vow every day to destroy Israel?

If the Palestinians want peace then there must be security for Israel first! All Palestinian terrorist groups must be disarmed and deactivated, before any political solution to the middle east peace process could be advanced.

As a palestinian state will be a constant security threat to Israel. It is the view of the "Friends of Israel in Pakistan" that a Palestinian state in Israel is not an appropriate solution to the problem. The setting up of a Palestinean state is like "offering Al-Qaida to open an embassy in the middle of Washington D.C." (for Americans) or setting-up of a laison office of Indian Army in the GHQ-Rawalpindi (for Pakistanis).

If however, the world leader loose their sanity and go on with making such a state, then it should be demiliterized, meaning it should neither have a standing military nor a paramilitary force.

No country (including Pakistan), should provide help to Palestinians which at present or in future could be used in any form way or means against Israel. It is unfortunate that Pakistan is towing Saudi Arabian line in regards ot its policy on Israel.

The bombings and your article which was very well written clearly points to the above stated facts.
