Your entire perspective is wrong

Reader comment on item: Palestinians Taste a Dose of Their Own Medicine

This is just going to be the first of my systematic comments on this site; so I suggest you all get prepared: Sorry to tell you this (actually, I'm not sorry), but the reason you conservatives can never see the truth is because your mindset is wrong to begin with. (and, humurously, another reader also commented that the Arab mindset to hate non-Muslims will never change). What, and I suppose you don't hate Muslims as well? So you people are the only perfect, sinless humans around? Quit with the lies already. The very basis of conservativism is a desire to protect one's own nation, religion, etc. and not tolerate others. So you should actually understand how the radicals think, given that you think almost the same way as them, only you're on the opposite side. In fact, I don't think your problem is their being radical per se, it's their being radical for another religion.

I am a Filipino Catholic (just so that you know I'm not a Muslim, and therefore not biased) and I'm proud of my religion, but I believe in tolerating, even cooperating with other religions. Except in a few cases, we should accept other people's differing opinions. Even more so if it's a matter of faith, such as religion. There's little, if any, real scientific proof for most religions, so why try to convert others to your religion? Since you religious conservatives think "morals" are so important, then study what I said. Maybe that will change your rock-solid mindset on "morals".

But if any of you are trying to topple Islam, as many readers here want to do, then you will fail. Islam has gained the status of a true world religion. It has survived many trials in the past, and it will certainly survive this one. If you hate Islam, then at least have a rational reason for it, rather than your one-sided and hypocritical brand of morals, which only seems to apply to other people. (I call this "setting new double standards"). Show some logic, for a change.
