Justifying the Unjustifiable

Reader comment on item: A Reluctant but Unhesitating Vote for Donald Trump

Submitted by Cherie McKeever (United States), Jun 4, 2020 at 20:27

Since Donald Trump was elected, Confederate flags are openly displayed in this mid-size Montana town. They fly from pick up trucks and hang in the front picture windows of homes. You can write pages and pages to justify your "reluctant" vote, but you cannot separate the man and his character from the office you are electing him to. Let's be crystal clear, Reluctant or not, a vote for Trump supports the hate and divisiveness he promotes.
