Daniel's reluctant support of Trump

Reader comment on item: A Reluctant but Unhesitating Vote for Donald Trump

Submitted by Cary Hillebrand (United States), Jun 4, 2020 at 12:18

While I understand and respect your thought process that led to this difficult, and I assume, distasteful decision, I strongly request that you reconsider.

In Trump, we have a president that is both highly unstable and highly mercurial. What will happen the moment Trump feels he is being dissed by someone in the Israeli government?

Or perhaps, he once again falls under the spell of Putin or Erdogan? You do not have to look far for an example. Witness Trump's impulsive sell out of the Syrian Kurds after a phone call and the tragic consequences for America's and Israel's only real ally in the Arab world.
