Character is critical - especially from the President of the Free World

Reader comment on item: A Reluctant but Unhesitating Vote for Donald Trump

Mr. Pipes, your article was interesting and I think I understand where you are coming from, however, character, moral standards, integrity, holding a moral compass and having senior administrative staffers following that same moral compass is critical. I do like some of the issues Mr. Trump has dealt with, however, his bashing of our allies, "love affair" with dictators, ignoring the emoluments clause and making loads of cash from we the taxpayers does not sit well with me. I will not be supporting Mr. Trump in 2020. I'm not a huge fan of Joe Biden, however for the sake of our country, the respect of our Constitution, basic rule of law and our future as a united democracy, Mr. Biden will receive my support. Character is critical and Mr. Trump has none.
