War?

Reader comment on item: [The Canadian Islamic Congress:] An Islamist Apology

Submitted by Ray B (Canada), Aug 23, 2005 at 07:45

The term war against radical Islam is stated over and over, and over to the point where it I'm sick of it? What is that war, against who is it, what are weapons used, WHERE and HOW will it be fought? In the churches, synagogues, mosques? Propaganda(not in the bad way necessarily) or the M16(I'm assuming this is a rifle)? Muslims or Muslim Radicals???

If there's a war, it is against extremism, it is against the people who use religion(whichever it may be) as an excuse for their downright disgusting behaviours. Those peoples can be Muslims like Bin Laden, or against those that say certain people shouldn't marry, or against those that say all members of a religion and that religion itself is wrong. There is no time, or no need to be specific.

Please, accept my apologies if I offend, and I more than invite you to debate if you think I am wrong...
