Response to Naeem Din's post

Reader comment on item: [The Canadian Islamic Congress:] An Islamist Apology

Submitted by ubangi (United States), Jul 20, 2005 at 13:03

Naeem Din wanted to know how to combat Islamists. I'm not sure how that can be done, but I think Naeem Din is in a good position to help "infidels" understand that there really are some Muslims who are not out to conquer the host country with violence or otherwise. Writing letters to newspaper editors would help.

Letters are beginning to appear in newspapers from Muslims decrying the [terrorist] bombings in London. The letters indicate that this is not true Islam and that the public should not take revenge on "true" Muslims. (These letters may be appearing because CAIR, that great organization of peace and tolerance, suggested a letter writing campaign.) These letters never specifically condemn what Naeem Din has condemned in the post appearing on Daniel Pipes' website.

Write your letter, just as you wrote it in the post, and send it off to your local newspapers….unless you're afraid of the reaction of Islamicists to the letter.
