Islamist Apology

Reader comment on item: [The Canadian Islamic Congress:] An Islamist Apology

Dr. Pipes,

One can understand your response following an "Islamic" apology.

The lessening of Islamic militancy, characteristic over the centuries, would be an international relief.

The reality creeps back in, reminding of the Islamic tactic of "cease-fire."
By their definition and behavior, it is only a tactical choice in times of their weakening, making time for strengthening and return to the conflict. Need we mention Hamas' use of this against Israel of recent times?

As you know, Dr. Pipes, the Islamists publically speak of their desire and purpost to drive the Jews into the sea.

Anyone for a Burka?
