Islam is being attacked for containing the truth

Reader comment on item: Militant Islam's New Strongholds

As I hear Michael Savage sending the message that the practitioners of peace are cutting people's heads off and asking why Newsweek does not cover the churches that were destroyed in Bosnia, I feel like I will soon have to defend myself physically for being a Muslim. The word Muslim and Islam comes from the root word in arabic salaam, which means peace.
A Muslim can't be a terrorist, and a terrorist can't be a Muslim. So people who want to terrorize people ... either don't know Islam or think they are doing something in benefit of Islam, but, in fact, they are not. It is in the Koran..."Whosoever killed a person - unless it be for killing a person or for creating disorder in the land - it shall be as if he killed all mankind; and whoso saved a life, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind." (5:32)

"Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors" (4.89) After watching the capture of a female humanitarian worker in Iraq, I realize we have people among us who call themselves Muslim, but in no way are they Muslim, except by name.

Instead of labeling them "muslim terrorists" they should be labeled by what group they are associated with:
Abu Sayyaf, Philippines
Al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya, Egypt also known as The Islamic Group
Al-Qaeda, Worldwide
Armed Islamic Group (GIA), Algeria
Army of Ansar al-Sunna, Iraq
AZF, France
Egyptian Islamic Jihad, Egypt
Hamas, Gaza Strip and West Bank
Harkat-ul Mujahideen al-Alami, Pakistan
Hizballah, Lebanon
Jemaah Islamiyah, Indonesia
Moro Islamic Liberation Front, Philippines
Moroccan Islamic Combatant Group, Morocco and Europe
Tawhid and Jihad , Iraq, led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi
