Reader comment on item: Obama's Pretend Counterterrorism Policy

Submitted by Amin Riaz (United Kingdom), Aug 31, 2011 at 18:49

Those who want a genuine counterterrorism policy must work to remove the Left and the multiculturalists from government.

The last line said it all. This is a political statement. Anything from Obama for the right is always bad. No matter what Obama had come-up with

He came in one of the worst periods to gevrn and so far has managed superbly.

Economic crisis was not his fault - 2 terms from Bush and he didn't do anything about it - although the signs were there.

War on 2 fronts was hardly smart. Going into broken down Iraq was costly and

On the contrary:

Osama was found during the Obama regin.

Obama is still trying to clear up the mess Bush made

He has managed the financial crisis.

He has seen of best of the crazy tea party

He managed the "Arab Revolution" brilliantly so far. Not handing out either money or weapons willy-nilly.

Biggest of all he has not given into idiotic demands (such as a few mentoned above) from the right. Its the same game really just with different faces and different names.

The so called "Islamists" demonise its "western opponents" to less than human. The right does the exact same it needs to "demonise" its Muslim opponents to less than human. To the extent that their respective sense of Justice, Humanity and Morality does not apply.

Read any of the crazy neo-con philosophy. And read any of "Islamist" drivel. Blur out the names one will not be able to tell the difference.

Hopefully Obama will still be there for another 4 years. For the sake of whole humanity. And 4 years after that - There might be another superpower to appease.
