Jesus also taught, Salvation is Conditional.

In John 15:14 Jesus said,
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Jesus came to earth knowing he would lose his life in order to spread his new gospel of Conditional Salvation thus proving his previous statement;
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Salvation is acquired by our willingness to hear and obey the words and commands of Jesus as I point out in over 50 verses in chapter 5 of my book, Invaders of the Kingdom. The downloadable eBook is free. Two primary examples of Conditional Salvation are found in Mt 5:20, and Mt 6:15.
For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

… if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

If heaven is your goal, regardless of Pauline dogma, do not over look the "if's" that Jesus taught.
