Reader comment on item: U.S.-Pakistan Relations in Decline

Submitted by batya dagan (United States), May 4, 2011 at 20:19

I will never forget when Mousharaff , Pakistan's president at the time ,finally agreed to join us in the fight against terror ( no one said how much it cost us ).His people were terribly anti America and did not want him to do this. Mousharaff then gave two speeches. One in English where he said that it will be good to join forces against terror and another speech in Urdu where he reminded the pakistanis what Muhamad did to Haibar.

He said that agreements with the enemies are allowed to be broken and to be used against them. Guess what. This is what his replacement did. My advice is to be very very afraid of Pakistan and to give them no money .
