Pitt, the Elder said "Nothing pleases the Law more than brevity. " In that spirit. permit me to briefly extract the essential thoughts I intended in a excessively wordy earlier comment simply to make a point, which was:

1. Only 3000 lives were lost to make 308,000,000 live in constant insecurity.

2. Government now governs as if any of the 308,000,000 is a presumptive terrorist.

Such an Islamic achievement impresses me. We should strive to emulate.
