BEAUTY AND THE BEAST – the beautiful falls asleep for a hundred years following a curse hurled about her and kissing her Prince the awakens. But in the original version the young lady is raped by King, gives birth to two children and falls into a coma for not waking up more.

RUMPELSTILT SKIN – In modern version the GNOME Rumpelstilt skin transforms straw into gold to help a young girl to win a challenge. Her in exchange for promises to give him the first child that is born, but the time to keep our word no longer wants to separate himself from newborn. Rumpelstilt skin forswears the says that his reward if the girl is able to guess what is the name, and eventually the young ce la fa. But in the original version the Gnome goes nuts for rabies and ripping a leg from the body of the girl.

GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS – The most famous version, when the bears come to take Goldilocks home while he is sleeping, she escapes out of the window. But in the original version cannot escape and bears the eat.

HANSEL And GRETEL – instead of a witch the original version was a devil who wanted to eat the two children, after facts die bled. Hansel and Gretel cut the throat to the daemon and flee.

THE GIRL WITHOUT HANDS – in the revised version, the girl renounces hands to save the life of his father. While the original fairy tale, the purpose of the maiden had escaped from a love incestuous.

CINDERELLA – In fairy tale, the two oldest sisters want to trick Prince and then you cut a part of the feet. Prince discovers and sort that some pigeons take out their eyes with the beak.

Now, imagine the "Tales from topographic oceans" ( the best album of YES ) about history, the whole human history ..........
