Quwwat-al-Islam is the name of a famous mosque in Old Delhi drawing many tourists. It literally means 'Might of Islam'

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quwwat-al-Islam

"Might of Islam" was constructed by the destruction of 27 Hindu and jain temples and even in it's contruction , Hindu/Jain pillars can be seen.

This is NOT an isolated example of Islamic Triumphamism, rather it is a default mode of musque siting, i.e. put it on the ruins of non-Muslim cultural and holy places destroyed and desecrated by Muslims. You can see it in thousands, in India , Arab countries and places like Cyprus, which came under Muslim rule

Ground zero mosque clearly falls in this pattern. While a large number of Americans have gut feeling of opposing ground zero mosque, the "liberal" section , inlcuding the US President, have neither the gut feeling nor a feeling of history. Obama is definitely leading the US on the road to ruin
