Reader comment on item: One Cheer for Obama's Arab-Israeli Policy

Submitted by Ilene Richman (United States), Jun 25, 2010 at 09:35

Once again, I will reiterate, the Palestinians were never a nation. They became nomads and wandered into Judea. King Solomon's Temple was destroyed when the Moslems built their mosque upon the temple. Solomon's Temple sits in Jerusalem. All of the surrounding land is Judea and Samaria. There is no reason to cede the West Bank to the Palestinians. They should be transferred to Jordan, which is a Palestinian state. All bargaining about the West Bank should immediately cease. The West Bank belongs to the State of Israel (Judea). Yasser Arafat, terrorist and murderer, created a group called "The Palestinians" so he could collect billions of dollars from the Arab states. He died very rich, but left the group he created very poor. If not for Shimon Peres (traitor of Israel), the Palestinians would now be in Tunesia, another Moslem country. Since the Moslems occupy 99% of Africa and the Middle East, there must be a country that would welcome the Palestinians. As far as I am concerned, the West Bank and Gaza belong to Israel. In 2010, the US will have a Republican president. The Republicans love Israel. Obama will fade into history. Maybe he can work for the Arabs or Moslems. He certainly is un-American.
