One Cheer for Obama's Foreign Policy

Reader comment on item: One Cheer for Obama's Arab-Israeli Policy

Submitted by Kenneth S. Perlman (United States), Sep 16, 2009 at 18:01

Unfortunately, even as you give Obama one cheer, the various Arab negative responses (and even the positive ones) all reference the "settlements". Thus Obama has taken a set of facts that were not at issue and not part of any previous accord and elevated them to an issue now requiring "Israeli compromise" before the arabs will even consider taking acts that they previously were committed to do. Incitement to commit mass murder, hate, anti-semitism, and educating yet another generation of monsters was supposed to stop long ago.
