IL, maybe this is what it looks like from your perspective. I grew up in the cold war days in Germany with a soviet nuclear warhead programmed to target every city I ever set foot in. Conventional weapons all along the border on the eastern side. It was the US nuclear deterrence and massive presence of US military in Germany that kept my country free. It was not the german defense budget, not clever politics and it was far from what anyone would call "common-sense". I do not want nuclear warheads in Iran pointed at my living room and there is noone out there to protect me, or you for that matter, but the US and NATO. I prefer the people who say "yes, we will" over those merely saying "yes, we can".
