Reader comment on item: How to Save the Obama Presidency: Bomb Iran

Submitted by Jules Posten (United States), Feb 3, 2010 at 15:00

we are in the greatest peril that can be faced. we're surrounded by countries that do not "wish us well" and our elected "leader" doesn't seem to be able to relate to the danger. our enemies are just laughing at the ineptness that radiates from our current administration. this malaise of collective guilt feelings and political correctness has been creeping up on us since the 1970s and if we do not wake up very soon, we'll find that our country is no longer ours. we're afraid to act in our interests lest we offend countries that just flat out hate us and our way of life.. i've reached a point in life where i know that i will not be around in a fairly short time, but i have childen and grandchildren and i shudder for their futures
