Mr. Pipes,
Judging by most of the published responses to this article, I would say that those disagreeing with you either did not bother keeping themselves informed before the crisis arrived, believed the last minute PR that WMD was primary, or just have their heads in the sand to begin with.
Anyone who has kept themselves informed (must go beyond headlines in the NYT) would know that all of the items listed (WMD, support of terrorism, Use of chemicals/BIO, etc.) were in violation of the 'end-of-hostilities' contract you mentioned. Saddam reneged on that contract and all the UN resolutions.
Thank God we finally got a President that would say enough is enough. Now, if he would just wake up to the continued Palestinian non-compliance...
