I just can't see why people don't think the war was about Iraqi Freedom. Ok, Ok, it WAS about WMD at first, I mean, enforcing a contract and perhaps national security. But, overall this trip to Iraq entailed a lot more and Iraqi Freedom is not some just shade to cover the truth. It really IS happening. And it really has become part of the mission. I refuse to think we've been pouring money and aid to the people of Iraq just to piss and play in the wind.
And one more note: Although the war seems justified on the basis of our findings, thus far, about torture chambers and mass graves, the lack of finding WMD really bugs me. And, although I support Bush, I hope next time he hestitates before rubbing a token term or buzzword, like WMD, in America's face to get support.
Call me crazy.
