I videotaped every major speech that President Bush and his administration gave pre-war. WMDs were mentioned as the primary motivation. Even Paul Wolfowitz reportedly said recently that they (the administration) could only agree on WMDs as the primary goal since every other reason was arguable.
I served 26+ years in the USMC. And I know what alot of our soldiers are thinking in Iraq: where are the WMD stockpiles? You can't have your cake and eat it too in this situation.
Why are Secretary Rumsfeld and others starting to back away from WMDs? I am disappointed, to say the least, that I supported this war 100% and now my President won't be brave enough to tell the American people that they overstepped.
