Your expectation, Dr. Pipes, it seems, is that other nations be expected to keep agreements w the U.S.; but that the U.S. bears no such responsibility to other nations, nor to its own people for that matter. You make the point yourself. Numerous justifications were offered for invasion/occupation of Iraq. Most, under even a casual analysis, prove false. Who's not keeping their promises? Who's playing cat and mouse?
