Something's Rotten....

Reader comment on item: Hearing on "Should the United States Do More to Help U.S. Citizens Held against Their Will in Saudi Arabia?"

Submitted by Randi R. Varrone (United States), Jun 16, 2002 at 00:01

Something's rotten in the state of "State." (as well as Congress--methinks you are being "yessed" to death). I think "obsequiousness" is a major understatement per your information in this testimony. I am appalled and sickened
that we are bending over so far backward that we are just about kissing our own backsides to appease the Saudis

Keep up the good fight, Dr. Pipes, against those who would sweep these issues under the rug, especially to feather their own nests!
