Hearing on "Should the United States Do More to Help U.S. Citizens Held against Their Will in Saudi Arabia?"Reader comment on item: Hearing on "Should the United States Do More to Help U.S. Citizens Held against Their Will in Saudi Arabia?" Submitted by Steven Chaimberg (Canada), Jun 13, 2002 at 13:53 Professor Pipes is "on the mark" when he highlights the disturbing practices of the US Government in its dealings with Saudi Arabia. Is it no wonder that the US has so little respect with the Saudis, when it seems that "kowtowing" to the whims of the Sauds is the order of the day?I would hope that ordinary US citizens finally tell their government that "enough is enough", and that this obsequious policy be put into the dustbin, where it richly deserves to go.
