More on Saudi ArabiaReader comment on item: Hearing on "Should the United States Do More to Help U.S. Citizens Held against Their Will in Saudi Arabia?" Submitted by Christian Doumit (Spain), Jun 13, 2002 at 12:26 We've known about this stuff for decades.Do you need more? Like Swiss Air had to land at night with tail lights turned off. The Mutawa police breaking in and ransacking a hotel because of a birthday party for a young boy. There is no such things as birthday parties in Islam. A woman doctor on her way to see a patient beaten up because she "she was secluded with a foreign man in a car" Her driver, because women are not allowed to drive in Saudi. Have you read the Saudis by Sandra Mackey? or the books of Said Abu Rish on Saudi Arabia? This is just a comment written in a hurry. I firmly believe that a real solution to the Arab-Israeli problem can only start in Saudi Arabia. But it would be heresy to say so.
