Mecca is the key

Reader comment on item: Hearing on "Should the United States Do More to Help U.S. Citizens Held against Their Will in Saudi Arabia?"

Submitted by Chris Gait (United States), Jun 14, 2002 at 12:29

The country that controls Mecca sets the tone for the Moslem world. The Brits saw to it that Mecca was taken from the Turks and given to the Wahabbi fanatics that bombed the WTC. It is time to remove the Saudis from power and give Mecca back to the Turks. They are the only Moslem democracy, the only secular Moslem state, and our only loyal ally in the Moslem world. With them in charge of Mecca we would have peace.
