Mr. Hundel,

You seemed to give Pipes the victory during the "debate." You seem to note Pipes was better prepared and at least stuck to the format. You seemed disappointed Pipes "won" and were "unhappy" no one laid a "knockout punch" on him.

Sonny- Maybe in your estimation no one currently has the correct solution to the radical terrorist threat. If so, what is your solution to violent groups who are totalitarian in outlook and believe God wants them to make everyone think and believe as they do? How do you deal with those who justify suicide bombing of innocents? How do you limit the activities of those who turn passenger airplanes into kamikaze style cruise missiles? What is your solution to those who turn themselves into human bombs and blow up the London subway? What would you do to neutralize such groups who have infiltrated your society and to stop their attacks in the planning stage?

These questions are not rhetorical.

What hard decisions and/or programs would you implement? Would you call 9/11 and 7/7 political statements or justifiable retribution? If not, what would you do to protect everyday folks going about their business?

The first civil right is to walk down the street without fear of harm to your person by violence or of being blown to bits.

What is your plan to protect this right?
