Yes, Livingstone is such a buffoon. His thought processes vary from wooly to outright lunacy. So why was he elected? At the time he was standing as an independent, the Labour party having thrown him out. The official labour candidate was a complete non starter. In such circumstances we should not vote at all.

As Billy Connelly (a famous comedian) said , voting only encourages them. The fact is. people who still think that Britain is a democratic country will exercise their right to put a cross on a piece of paper. So 'Red Ken' got in. He has since 'kissed and made up with the labour party, and there are still misguided people who think labour is doing a good job. hence he stays in power, as do the rest of the pack in parliament. The harm he is doing, together with the aforementioned pack of inept, so called politicians will only be apparent to history. By then it will be too late. I personally can only repeat the words of a famous playwright so true today. The wish to enter politics should automatically debar that person from doing so.
