Pope Marmalade and The ImamReader comment on item: My Debate with London Mayor Ken Livingstone Submitted by Eamonn Gavin (Ireland), Apr 11, 2007 at 03:38 A quick note to "PM3" (Maurice) please, as I am just rushing out the door to England. Maurice, your unnecessary apology is absolutely and totally accepted! How could it not be, when you see fit to not only do so, but also take the time to explain your own thoughts on the issue - and express some concern over the attitude of the radio station. My own bottom line is that all should be treated equally and treat all others equally. By retreating from a potential backlash, we may well save some "offended" outrage and violence, but we also inadvertantly give succour and encouragement to those who threaten to subject us all to their laws. I appreciate very much your getting back; Thank You!! Maybe we can meet in Dublin for a coffee? Best Wishes to All, Eamonn Gavin, Dublin, Ireland.
