Did Kofi Annan lose his tongue ?

Reader comment on item: Israel Has a War to Win

Submitted by Adam Eylat (Israel), Jul 29, 2006 at 02:29

(YNET, the Israeli Yediot Aharonot Internet publication 07/21/2006) The commanding officer of the UN force in southern Lebanon said today that the UN is pulling out UNTSO unarmed personnel from Southern Lebanon. He pointed out that . Hizbullah is using UN radio frequencies to communicate orders to and from their Katyusha rocket personnel..

This criminal tactic by Hizbullah deliberately puts unarmed UNTSO personnel in harms way:

The Israeli Army upon picking up these communications and identifying their locations is of course expected to open fire and hit the Katyusha crew in an attempt to thwarting the launch... Obviously, UN personal are at a very high risk as a result of this criminal tactic by Hizbullah.

Kofi Annan remains silent... unless of course Israel mistakenly shoots at UN personnel...

Peace in the Middle East requires an honest UN Sec. General !!
