Tel Aviv??

Reader comment on item: Israel Has a War to Win
in response to reader comment: Requests of Tel Aviv?

Submitted by Yuval Brandstetter MD (Israel), Jul 22, 2006 at 13:42

... let me remind Professor Pipes and all readers. Yerushalayim, or Jerusalem in English, is the capital of the jewish People for the last three thousand years. Zionism is the political tool of the Jewish people to effect this actuality, the resurrection of Zion, as the capital of the Jewish people. Symbolically, Ehud Olmert, recently elected has chosen to proclaim his "AD KAN" speech, in front of the Knesset, in Yerushalayim.

Tel Aviv, with all due respect, (I was born and raised in TA) is a major city, but it is not the capital. When you call upon the leadership of Israel, you call Yerushalayim.
