King David's solutionReader comment on item: Israel Has a War to Win Submitted by Randy Warren (United States), Jul 23, 2006 at 22:26 The people of Israel are tired of war because it seems to never have an end. The end of wars come when the enemy is completely defeated, with no resources, moral or material to continue the war. King David defeated all of the surrounding nations in decisive campaigns. The result was forty years of peace for the people of Israel. Israel's peace led at that time to good relations with her neighbors and gave her a huge area of economic influence and prosperity, all the while maintaining a superior military force should it become necessary to have one.
