Does Olmert sounds like a likely candidate to replace Vince Lombardi?

Reader comment on item: Israel Has a War to Win

Submitted by SHmuel HaLevi (Israel), Jul 20, 2006 at 15:58

My dear friends.

How do you figure that persons such as Peres or Olmert, presently and again being supported by the US can possibly WIN anything let alone a WAR?

Just now I was thrown out of bed by rockets explosions here in Karmiel and the israeli radio, controlled of course by that people for many decades, is not even reporting it. THE US GOVERNMENT IS GUILTY of a great deal of what has happened here by the actions of a ruinous State Department. In nine days we have not been able to stop Hezbollah, how can we possibly, under the US supported disasters here be able to defeat Iran? I beg you all to understand the depth of the error by the US and others, unless of course if their intent is to destroy this state and people.
