Islam a cult? look at your speech!

Yoven,

Are you suggesting as your words imply, that this man deserves the death penalty in part for his apostacy? That my wife of brahmin stock should be killed for becoming a Muslim?

It is strange that of the muslims and hindus that I know, more hateful speech is from the mouths of the hindus. must just be the circles I mix in I guess. For instance, when talking about a riot in Gujjarat where hindus beat and killed muslims, a hindu who told me about it claimed that it was the reverse (they may well have done so too, knowing the mutual hatred there), despite how it was reported here in the "west"... essentially a hindu anti-muslim pogrom (with official political backing). Or my mother in law who refuses to let the relatives back in India know that my wife is a muslim, because she is afraid of being killed by HINDUS.

Coming out of the darkness into the light means letting the light animate our speech and actions, so Yoven, if you are a follower of the light, please make more effort to let it show, I cannot see it here.
