Reader comment on item: Does the Police Department Profile? Should It?
in response to reader comment: ahmad zafire

like i said i understand your argument. and yes something has to been done, but as an american, put your trust in your country. As we all know america has its ups and down through history and still do but the very people who run this country understand what going on more then you and i. America became the great country it is today through conflict and bargaining. I am born american muslim who is serving in the US military. I joined after 911and before any of this i could wear my religous clothing and no one would care. now people look with fear and hate in their eyes. yes, i understand why... cant blame them to a point but i am one out of thousands muslims in the US military that wedge jihad on terrorist and islamic extremist for hijacking islam to justicifiy the crimimal acts against the world.

This is my country and no not at all perfect but it comes close compared to all the others. thats why we are the super power, Believe me the government knows what its doing.....have faith.

what we see today with islam is history in the making. A religion fighting to come into a new era just as judaisim and christianity has. dont think christians has alway had the glorified name nor did judaisim. both went through times of modernizing as will islam. people must remember muslims are fighting along side of the USA to stop terror. Some good notes kuwait had its first women vote election today.....there proof for you.

America was the same way with women before wwI and wwII. None was able to work until the country fell into depression with all the men at war and the only ones who was able were women. So America and christianity became more moderate so can islam. dont be the pot that calls the kettle black!!!
