results of international funding for the PA

The millions which have been poured into the Palestinians by the EU [and the USA] seem to have created a very unnatural monster, devoid of all anchors to reality. Appeasement by cashflow has been the worst possible strategy. It has rewarded the intifada which has nettled the Isrealis. It has removed the incentive for the creation of stability and wealth from the Palestinians,; the bloating of the 'administration' has spawned competing factions and divided opportunity from realisation.

The further the PA is propped up by external forces [including the UN] , the further away the current of unreality will take them, and into the arms of Al Quaida who will use the Palestinian people mercilessly. If the whole edifice crashes now, perhaps in the shock of reality a new movement towards peace will become possible post-Hamas.
