I've been following Dr. Pipes's views on this for some time and have come to agree with him. Now he says his advice has become "operational". In reading both Israeli and Palestinian declarations these days, I would have to agree. Olmert has followed through so far on his promises and this is hopeful for me. But, does Dr. Pipes really think that it's happening? That Olmert will not blink?

No, while I re-offered these tactics because there is now talk of a tougher approach to the PA., I am deeply pessimistic about Olmert and his government in this regard.
