Canadians killed in LebanonReader comment on item: Thoughts on the Israeli Incursion into Gaza Submitted by Michael McNaughton (Canada), Jul 18, 2006 at 12:58 Dear Dr. Pipes A recent air raid by the Israel armed forces into the city of Tyre killed 7 Canadians. Why are civilians targeted? Does it make sense for the government of Isreal to kill Canadains of Lebanese decent? War has civilian casualties, but to target homes in Lebanon, becasue the rockets come from lebanon does not make military sense. The govenment of Israel needs to apologize for their actions toward Canadians in Lebanon. respectfully Michael McNaughton Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
