The Day that West was Lost

Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark?
in response to reader comment: Successful intimidation of US media

As an immigrant who loves the west and believes in its ideals (and understands and tries to correct its short comings) I feel sad that it seems that muslims in far away countries have successfully imposed their will on the western world and ideals. In just a matter of a few days the west seems to have capitulated totally, and west is apologizing when it should be the other way around. Soon US and EU will increase their financial support of the very muslim countries that are burning our flags, embassies and openly threaten to kill and maim our citizens.

I still say that best way forward is to accept that islam is incompatible with western way of life and goal of majority of muslims in the west is to eventually impose islamic way of life on the west. There is no reason that Islam has to be compatible with western way of life - islam is free to live the way they wish to where they have majority of people.

One hopes that in such lands some minimal human rights will be possibel for non-muslims but of this we can not be sure - non muslims have very few rights in any muslim countries today.

Muslims say that west disrespects muslims and islam, but it is islam that its very core disrespects all non-muslims. This is a clash/war of civilizations that no one will win from - it is best to accept this incompatability and live separate lives, and limit immigration from Islam to the west and limit building of mosques in the west. At the same time we should limit immigration from west to muslim lands and limit building of christian churches and hindu temples in places like saudi arabia, iran, iraq, syria, and so forth. (Of course by the islamic attitude of double standard most of these countries already severly limit practice of non-islamic religions in their countries.)

We simply need to accept that muslims and islam can not co-exist with any other belief system at all. Of this there is no hope and the sooner west accepts this the bettter it will be.
