I think all of these operatives would be found mentally incompetent to stand trial. It's just too crazy for a normal person to fathom that anyone in their right mind could think this way. I have a feeling if you went back to the beginning of Islam, the insanity defense would be easily applicable to the ones who started it all. Aren't militant Islamists pretty much in line with how their religious leaders dealt with the infidels from the beginning? Kill the infidels!! (similar to the placards we saw) To us it's insane, to them it's faithfulness to Allah.
